Why do this course?
Women's Health Goulburn North East partnered with Australia reMADE to ask "what does it mean for people to be cared
for through disaster?" and "what sort of support do communities need?"
In this course we introduce you to these
questions and ideas about caring for yourself and others through disaster.

Any individual who wants to know more about caring through disaster.

Volunteers who work in emergency services or other unpaid roles that support communities before, during and
 after
disaster.

Individuals and organisations who work within service provision that are regularly called upon to care for
 communities
before, during and after disaster.

This course will raise your awareness of care through disaster and introduce you to three key concepts that people, and
communities who have been through disaster, recognise as being important to rebuilding following disaster.
